What anti-wrinkle (neurotoxin) injectable do you use?
Our anti-wrinkle injections at SkinEdit will be performed using the neurotoxin called Dysport.
Dysport has been used for 25 years as local muscle relaxant (or neuromuscular blocking agent) adapted from the botulinum neuromodulator type-A and is used in both aesthetic and therapeutic indications. Indicated for the temporary improvement in the appearance of moderate to severe glabellar lines associated with procerus and corrugator muscle activity in adult patients less than 65 years of age. Clients may start to notice the effects within 2-3 days but full onset is at 14 days, with treatments lasting on average of 3-4 months (results may vary).
A consultation is required for every client (new or returning) prior to any anti-wrinkle treatment.
